BGP picks up 5 Bangladeshi fishermen

Myanmar Border Guard Police (BGP) picked up five fishermen from Naf river on Saturday morning. 
Fisherman’s family sources said that fishermen went fishing in Jemmankhali area of ​​Naf river around 9am of this morning. Suddenly, the BGP of Myanmar opened fire on them. Mohammad Islam (35) could manage to swim to edge of Bangladesh. Mean the time,  they captured other fishermen. The five fishermen arrested are Azizullah, Yar Mohammad, Shah Alam, Md. Rafiq and Petan Ali. Their house was in Kanjarpara area of ​​Haakang union under Teknaf upazila.
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) is trying to contact BGP over phone. Protest letter to Myanmar authority is being sent in this regard.
