Shakib getting better

Bangladesh’s ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is making positive progress from his finger injury and will need two to three weeks to return back to competitive cricket, said Bangladesh Cricket Board officials on Monday.

Tigers Test and T-20 skipper Shakib failed to feature in ongoing Nidahas Trophy tri-series T20 tournament in Sri Lanka as he failed to recover sufficiently from the finger injury that he sustained in the Tri-nation final against Sri Lanka that also forced him to miss home series against Sri Lanka comprised with two Test and two T-20I’s.Shakib returned home after meeting Australian hand specialist Dr. David Haw on March 9 at Australia and after Tests were done.
