Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said no one involved in Teknaf municipality councilor Akramul Haque Akram murder will be spared.

“The investigation is underway over the killing of Akramul in “gunfight,” he said.

Obaidul Quader, also, the Road Transport and Bridges Minister came up with the assurance while inaugurating a new bus service “Dolon Chapa” for women at Bangabandhu International Conference Center, of Sher-e-Bangla, Dhaka on Saturday (June 2).

Akramul Haque Akram, Teknaf municipality councilor under Cox’s Bazar district, was killed in an alleged “gunfight” with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) during an anti-narcotics raid on May 27.

On May 31, Akramul’s wife Ayesha Begum, during a press conference at Cox’s Bazar Press Club, alleged that her husband was murdered in cold blood.

RAB, however, refuted the allegation.
