Real denounce Inter Milan for contacting with Modric

Real Madrid have condemned Italian club Inter Milan for negotiating with Luka Modric to sign without consent of the Spanish giant.

The latest approaches from Inter to sign Luka Modric have provoked the wrath of Real Madrid, reports Marca.

They have also decided to denounce the Italians before FIFA after they contacted the player without first asking Florentino Perez.

That’s illegal behaviour, since it is only allowed in case the player has less than six months of contract to run, and this is not the case.

Inter tried until the end, as the transfer market in Italy closed on Thursday.

The reality is that the rumours about Modric’s desire to leave Madrid have been repeated in recent weeks, a possibility that has never been considered before.

In fact, they continue to be very calm about this issue, since the player’s clause amounts to 750 million euros and was fixed in his renewal of just under two years ago.

A figure completely beyond the reach of Inter and most of the teams on the current scene.

However, Madrid have always sought understanding and were studying a salary increase that fits Modric’s new status.

What they will not allow is that the teams negotiate with their players without their knowledge.

Something identical happened with Barcelona and Atletico with Antoine Griezmann.
