President M Abdul Hamid today condoled the death of former Secretary General of United Nations (UN) Kofi Annan.

The novel laureate died today at the age of 80.

In condolence message, the President expressed profound shock at the death of Kofi Annan, a Ghanaian diplomat who served as UN Secretary General from 1997 to 2006.
