All political parties will participate in next polls: Eng. Mosharraf

Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain, MP, hope that all political parties will participate in the upcoming national polls.

He called upon to the intending Awami League (AL) candidates to start
their campaign in respective constituency for the national polls. He expects
that all political parties including the BNP would participate in the race.

Mosharraf said election will be held according to the constitution and
BNP will participate. The Minister was exchanging views with the grass root
level leaders and workers of AL at his residence at Nondonkanon in the city.

Seeking votes for the ‘boat’ symbol in next national polls, Mosharraf
said people voted them to power in 2008 and 2014 to serve them.

The minister said the people of the country are now living in peace. He
urged AL leaders and workers to remain alert, so that no evil quarter can
snatch the peace of the people.

“The next election is approaching. If the voters cast votes again for
us, the pace of ongoing development activities will continue,” he said,
adding that the government will turn the country into a developed one by

Chancellor of Chattogram University Dr Iftakher Uddin Chowdhury, Chief
engineer of Power Development Board in Chattogram Probir Kumar Sen, Vice
President of Chattogram north district AL Advocate Fakuruddin, AL leaders ATM Pearul Islam, former General Secretary of Bangladesh Chhatra League Mahfuzul Haider Chowdhury Roton, Mohila AL President Delwara Yousuf among others leaders and workers of Bangladesh AL attended the view exchanging meeting.
