Eminent journalist, writer and Managing Editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Shahriar Shahid will be laid to rest tomorrow at his family graveyard at Doukar Char village under Raipura

his workplace BSS, Jatiya Press Club (JPC) and the Dhaka Reporters Unity

be held.

Shahriar will be laid to eternal rest at his village home beside the

brother, famous artist Shahrukh Shahid after the third namaz-e-janaza ahead
of Maghrib prayers.

Shahriar authored 30 books based on the interviews of gallantry award

documentaries on the Liberation War as well.

A preacher of interfaith harmony and liberal Sufi ideals, Shahriar was
