In case of dredging, more importance is being given to the Shimulia-Kanthalbari route as it is a very important one, he added.

About allegation of unethical financial transactions for giving approval of ship design under the Department of shipping, Khalid said everything was brought under discipline removing all irregularities gradually and transparency, accountability will be ensured in all sectors.

Among others, SCRF president Asish Kumar Dey, general secretary Rafiqul Islam Sabuj, vice president Amresh Ray, former SCRF president Anisur Rahman Khan and former DRU secretary Shukkur Ali Shovo were present.
