If stay at home or grave…decision is yours’: Benazir

Outgoing Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Director General Benazir Ahmed on Monday asked people to maintain the social distancing for the sake of country’s safety.

“It is the duty of a citizen to maintain the social distance. The government is repeatedly asking people to maintain the social distancing but the order is being violated by a group. Whether you stay at home or in the grave, the decision is up to you,” said Benazir.

The RAB DIG told journalists while briefing online at noon.

“Everyone will stay inside home and few people roam around, whatever they like to do should not be allowed. I request all to avoid unnecessary outing, gathering and roaming around,” he said.

Benazir warned against any kind of irregularities in distributing relief items.

“No irregularities over relief distribution would not be tolerated. If anyone found involved in corruption will have to face exemplary actions. The Prime Minister announced zero tolerance policy for irregularities in relief items management.”
