37 more virus deaths recorded in country

Bangladesh’s COVID-19 deaths have jumped to 4,516 as 37 more fatalities recorded in last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 2,202 more confirmed cases were reported that took the total infection number to 3,27,359.

Of the dead, 30 were male while seven were female.

Some 3,298 more patients made recovery, taking the total recovered number to  2,24,573, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed on Monday afternoon.

Total 15412 samples have been tested in 92 labs acroos the country in a single day.

The country reported its first coronavirus cases on March 8 and the first death on March 18.
